Burnt Canoe Wood Shop in New Orleans builds custom furniture and heirloom pieces that carry character, function, and a sense of place. We work primarily with sustainably sourced hardwoods, while also incorporating reclaimed and salvaged materials when appropriate, giving new life to wood with history. Our work ranges from hand-built tables and desks to custom framing, laser engraving, and laser cutting, blending wood with acrylic and metal when the design calls for it. Whatever the scale, our goal is the same: to create inspired, enduring pieces that feel as good to live with as they do to look at..
